The Third beginner was the third incarnation of the Time Lord known as the Beginner. The Second Beginner regenerated when an image of the recently deceased Joanna Johnson appeared in his TARDIS, granting him extra regeneration energy which forced him to regenerate once he was given it. The Beginning of the Third Beginner.[]
After the Beginner regenerated into his third form, he decided that it was time for some change. With the press of a button the entire interior of the TARDIS changed and thus he decided to carry on with his adventures.
Later, the First Doctor landed in his TARDIS to apologise for crashing, which he found relatively humorous. (Battle of the Beginner)
Crash Landing![]
Wanting to take the Doctor somewhere, the TARDIS instead crashes onto a planet in the middle of a large scale war. Investigating the nearby area, he falls into the base of the Ice Golems and the Ice Queen. He's taken in to trial for treason and then executed but when he explains that he came with his friend called the Doctor, Lucia sends all the troops to the Fire Clan General's castle to find him - explaining that he saved them from a rogue fire person.
When the Doombringer is unleashed and the volcano beginning to erupt, the Ice Clan seemingly doesn't stand a chance until the Beginner jumps onto the Doombringer, sitting him on the volcano and destroying all in the final conflict. However Lucia reveals that the Doctor stopped both the Fire Clan and the Ice Clan in their mission to end the war with genocide and wants to kill the Doctor. An Ice Golem named Zarr ultimately saves his life and they head off back to attempt to land somewhere to drop the Doctor off. (When Worlds Collide)
After the Beginner dropped off the Doctor, he tested new costumes to see which he liked, ultimately settling on a red polo shirt and brown jeans. (The Beginner's New Groove)
The Three Beginners[]
At one point in his life, the Third Beginner traveled back to the conversion chamber in which the battle against the Death took place alongside the First Beginner. They all pumped regeneration energy into Jo's chamber which caused her to partly regenerate into a Cyberman. (Battle of the Beginner)
